Affinity with babies and children
Just like our families, we also greatly value your (proven) experience in the care for infants (and children). Your heart is in working with babies; you’re studying a child- or healthcare-related education and see yourself pursuing a future career in this area.
The right papers
It is absolutely essential that your experience is demonstrable. That means that you have the correct papers and/or contacts. First of all, you need to have liability insurance (aansprakelijkheidsverzekering, AVP). Next, we request two references from you, and we request a background check (VOG) for you. Finally, you must follow the special First Aid Course Baby & Child at Het EHBO Bureau.
Flexibility
With a baby or child, everything is unpredictable. Nights can be added, or canceled, last minute. We want to offer our families the possibility to book extra nights at the last minute, but keep in mind that this can also go the other way.
Enthusiasm and reliability
The care for children is second nature to you. You are enthusiastic, discreet, confident and pragmatic. When necessary, you can also provide tips for the parents. In this way, the parents know they can trust you completely as a nanny and know that they can rely on you.
Available for a longer period of time
Our families like that they often see familiar faces. Therefore, we always strive to pair 1 or 2 set nannies with each family.
